A landing page (or “lander”) is a standalone web page where visitors land after clicking an ad’s campaign URL.
In Permate, a lander is a crucial element of your campaign funnel, designed to match and optimize settings according to your landing page setup. To add a lander to Permate, ensure that your landing page is ready and publicly accessible on the Internet.
If you want a landing page to be part of your campaign funnel, you must have the landing page hosted externally and create a corresponding lander in Permate.
Here’s how you can add a lander to Permate:
Step 1: Go to Tracker >> select Campaigns tab >> click on the +New button >> choose Lander from the menu.
Step 2: Fill in the Required Information:
- Tab General:
- Workspace*: Select the workspace where you want to assign this traffic source. For further details, you can refer to the Workspaces: Overview article.
- Lander Name*: Provide a unique name for your lander.
- Status*: Choose between
- Active: Lander will be displayed when creating a campaign.
- Inactive: Lander will be hidden when creating a campaign
- Tags: Optionally, add tags related to the traffic source for easier organization.
- Lander URL*: Enter the URL of your landing page (e.g., https://123.com).
- Click Next to proceed to the Setup tab.
⚠️Note:
- Only members within the specific workspace have the permission to access and utilize this element.
- Fields marked with (*) are mandatory. Ensure all required fields are filled for create a lander successfully.
- Tab Setup:
- Number of CTAs: Please select the integer that represents the exact number of CTAs (Call-to-Actions) for your lander. Once you have saved all the changes and added the lander to Permate, this value can not be modified.
- 1 CTA: Permate default set-up is 1 CTA which means you do not need to add more.
- 2 to 5 CTAs: Click + button to add more CTA. Copy the corresponding number of click URLs to implement them into your landing page’s HTML.
- Tracking Script: The lander tracking script allows you to use the direct method of tracking and ensures that the redirect method of tracking functions correctly in all scenarios. Therefore, it is recommended to implement the lander tracking script into your landing page’s HTML code, regardless of the tracking method you choose. While redirect tracking will usually work without this script, incorporating it provides additional reliability.
- Set up verification: Verify if your landing page has been set up correctly by clicking on the button Verify
Step 3: Click Save once complete.
